On Friday, September 11, 2026 (with September 12 as the backup date), FIND Outdoors, AstroBrevard, and the Asheville Astronomy Club will be holding a star party at the Cradle of Forestry on Pisgah Highway in the Pisgah National Forest. The star party will be limited to 50 visitors, with visitor signup being handled by FIND Outdoors.

We are looking to have at least 6 telescopes set up that night, with astronomers for each scope. Guests will be there from 8:00 until 10:00, so we'll plan on setting up just before dark and we'll break down after all guests have left.
